PUBLIC ACTIVITIES.
– As from March 2000. Appointed by the Uruguayan Supreme Court of Justice as Expert in Scientific Examination of Questioned Documents for the Uruguayan Technical Forensic Institute, in charge with another collegue of that Institute of all Public questioned documents matters in Penalty cases and Civil cases that litigate with the benefit of public assistance
– October 2012, appointed by the Uruguayan Government to attend the International Congress of Questioned Documents Examiners held in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, Spain, organized by the International Association of Forensic Documents Examiners (SIPDO). This attendance was deemed of public interest to the Supreme Court in Uruguay, and official passport was granted for representing Uruguay at the Congress.
– October 2017, as President of the Uruguayan – Arab Chamber of Commerce for Food Security and Climate Change, leading the first commercial tour in the gulf region, extending the trip as requested by the Uruguayan Government to support the Uruguayan Vice President´s visit to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
PRIVATE ACTIVITIES.
– 2005 to 2010. Professional services for “Mezzera Law Firm” regarding the recovery of portfolios of the Bank Asset Recovery Fundo, created after the 2002 economic crisis in Uruguay and the region.
– 2007 – 2009. Judicial Manager, leading the judicial team, comprising more than 20 professionals, in the recovery of the Fund´s main bank assets (Banco Comercial, Banco de Montevideo and Banco La Caja Obrera).
– 2009. Legal attorney for the Uruguayan Central Bank (legal administrator of the Fund) for the assets recovery work, with his team, for one year until the Fund was bought by Republica Afisa Fund.
– 2009 – 2014. Entrusted lawyer at Banco Itau managing assets recoveries externally and legally for the bank
– 2010 to date. Entrusted lawyer at “Republica Afisa” (a trust organized by the Bank of the Republic of Uruguay) to manage asset recovery; bureau handling more than 2.000 judicial cases.
– 2013. Uruguayan Representative at the Annual Congress of Balms Group International, Milán, Italia.
– 2013.- Uruguayan Representative at the Annual Congress of the Americas of Balms Group International, Mexico.
– 2016. President of the Uruguayan-Arab Chamber of Integration for Food Security and Climate Change.
– 2016. Led the commercial tour of the aforementioned Chamber, with the sponsorship and support of the Uruguayan Chancellery, visiting the Arab Gulf countries (Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Kuwait), together with the Ambassadors of Uruguay in those countries. The trip was extended to organize and collaborate with the Vice President of Uruguay at the Latin American Economic Forum held in Dubai in October.
– 2017. Led the second commercial tour at the aforementioned region visiting the countries of Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates.

1997 – 2008. Player of the first team of Old Boys Club (OBC) as well as for the Uruguayan national team in South American competitions and in numerous seven a side tournaments in Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Fiji, Cayman Islands, among other countries.

– Appointed to be a part of the Judicial Committee of the Uruguayan Rugby Union; position held until 2017 having been renewed by unanimous vote each year and, since then, becoming part of the highest court of appeals.
2015 and 2016
– Appointed by South America Rugby (SAR) as Judicial Officer for matches prior to the Rugby World Cup and test matches (Uruguay vs United States of America, Uruguay vs Argentina XV, Chile vs Argentina XV, and underage matches between Uruguay and Argentina).
– Chosen by the Uruguayan Rugby Union to participate in a refresher course on disciplinary rules and procedures given by the Argentine Rugby Union (UAR) in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
2017
– Appointed by SAR as Judicial Officer in numerous international test matches, including the Bolivarian Games held in Santa Marta, Colombia, as part of the Olympics.
– Appointed head of the Judicial Committee of the Uruguayan Rugby Union, created at the request and by means of a project presented jointly with colleagues of the Disciplinary Committee of the Uruguayan Rugby Union, in order to provide the Union with a wider technical independence and specialisation. This court was unique in the region at the time of its creation and approval.
– Attended SAR Judicial Workshop given by Craig Joubert (World Rugby Referees Manager), Benjamin Rutherford (World Rugby Senior Legal Advisor) and Douglas Hunter (Citing Officer at 5 Rugby World Cups).
